Hip-hop rapper, producer and Grammy Award-nominee Warren G delivered a nostalgic performance at LAX Nightclub at the Luxor on Wednesday night, bringing his reminiscent lyrics and captivating personality. After entering the club just after 1 a.m., the West Coast entertainer represented his hometown of Long Beach by sporting a fitting pullover, which read “West Coast Certified.” Guests caught their first glimpse of the artist as he made his grand entrance shaking hands and greeting his admirers. Warren G took a minute to settle in with his entourage at his VIP booth located on the main stage.

Just before 2 a.m., he got on the mic and greeted his fans inviting them to go back in time. Treating his devotees to a live mini-concert, the artist started his energetic performance by having the crowd chant “Westside” along with him, signaling his personal DJ to start in with “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang,” by none other than his personal mentors and fellow West Coast rappers Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. His set also included “Do You See” and “This DJ,” just two of his many songs that were recognized on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Warren G dominated the mic and addressed the crowd by asking “All the ladies and the boys to make some noise.” The crowd was pumped up to the max when Warren G started in on “So Fly” whom he collaborated with Nate and Snoop Dogg. Warren G then signaled the music to stop so he could ask a quick question to all of his admirers asking, “Where are all of my regulators?” This perfectly led into his final and the most well-known, career making smash single, “Regulate.”

The rapper ended on a high note, thanking guests and then heading back to his VIP table to pose for photos with fans.
