Theatre Aspen is All About Broadway, Baby

The curtain’s up and the show must go on. Theatre Aspen celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, and the nonprofit is kicking off the festivities with a bang: the Broadway Bash on Feb. 23. Dress to impress as your favorite Broadway character for this costume gala and fundraiser at the Hotel Jerome. Expect everyone from the Pink Ladies (from “Grease”) to the Opera Ghost (“Phantom of the Opera”) to be dining and dancing into the evening.

In keeping with the Broadway theme, this summer Theatre Aspen brings “Les Miserables” to the stage at the new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park. The epic musical is one of the most popular performances in the world, and it comes to life in Aspen June 21 through Aug. 17. The Broadway Bash fundraiser helps to support productions like “Les Miserables,” as well as ongoing education programs throughout the year. More information on the Broadway Bash and tickets can be found here.
