The TODAY Show Is Coming To Chicago

The TODAY Show is coming to Chicago. Not permanently of course, and not the whole crew. But Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie will be in Chicago this upcoming Friday (February 8) as part of the show’s “Friday Field Trip” series. This will be the second week of the series, last week Al Roker and Natalie Morales were in the Super Bowl cities of Baltimore and San Francisco.

The anchors will be broadcasting from the plaza at 401 North Michigan Avenue starting at 6am. If you would like to brave the winter weather for a chance to see the highest paid television personality, feel free to do so. But if you’re a fan of the show and can’t get down there for any reason, there’s still a chance to be involved. The TODAY show has asked viewers to use twitter to tell them what they love about Chicago. Using the hashtag #TODAYinChicago viewers have been sending the show all types of ideas and reasons they love the city. There have been pictures of everything from views of people’s offices to The Bean in Millenium Park, and of course people have been tweeting food suggestions. So if you have a chance, tweet @todayshow and let them know why Chicago is a must-visit city.
