President Obama thanked the team for their time spent with the wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and mentioned specifically the big three, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh, for taking their roles as fathers seriously and for sending a positive message. James and Wade presented the Commander in Chief with a team signed basketball and an “Obama” Heat jersey. Dwayne Wade ended the event by jokingly offering President Obama a 10-day contract with the team to which the President responded, “Yes, you guys could use a shooter”.
