Sole Society and Nordstrom hosted the event at Mixology 101, according to LA Racked, where cocktails and snacks were served while fans took pictures with Hough and browsed the designs from the new collection. Hough, who wore a white Paule Ka outfit to the event, said, “Anybody that knows me knows that I change my style depending on what mood I’m in. [And] comfort. I also want to make sure that my foot looks really sexy…I always want the body to look good with the shoes and I want them to pop.”
The debut collection includes the Sole Society ‘Harper’ Oxford in leopard print and multi glitter, the Sole Society ‘Sabine’ Oxford in platinum, and the Sole Society ‘Katarina’ Flat (online exclusive) available in cobalt/silver, black/bronze and taupe/bronze. LA Racked reports that Hough’s ‘go-to-style, the Giselle,’ is slated for a March release and Hough said, “It’s a patent leather heel with a pointy toe and a strap around the ankle. … It’s a nude, classic pump that’s perfect for everybody.”
Following the debut, guests saw an advanced screening of Safe Haven, Hough’s new film.
Other celebrities who provide ‘insider tips’ for Sole Society’s shoes include Sydne Summer, Jaime-Lynn Sigler, Jeannine Morris, Julia Engel, Allison McNamara and Alyssa Hertzig.
