On Saturday, February 9, 2013, join ArtPoint in Golden Gate Park as we transform the de Young into an ultra-chic Dutch-inspired wonderland. Celebrate the arrival of Girl With a Pearl Earring and Rembrandt’s Century, and the closing days of Rudolf Nureyev: A Life in Dance with an after-hours party at the museum. the deYoung is honored to be the first US venue to be showing this world famous Vermeer. Event highlights include late-night access to the special exhibition galleries, dancing to the beats of DJ Vin Sol, hors d’oeuvres, chocolate tasting, an open bar serving decadent cocktails, and of course, world-famous works of art. In a final celebration of this exhibition, guests are invited to view a very special performance by the San Francisco Ballet School Trainee Program in the Koret Auditorium. ArtPoint is offering two seatings, one at 7:30 pm, and a second at 8:30 pm.
