American Invasion of London Continues

First there was Spice Market, then Sushisamba, Balthazar, STK, Standard Grill — and now Upper West. Whether London likes it or not (and we do) NYC is coming to town. The latest addition to Old Blighty’s New York-inspired scene is located right in the heart of Chelsea and is an uber-stylish lounge, rooftop garden and nightclub.

Not only is the rooftop destined to be one of the chicest hangouts in the city, the West London space has teamed up with one of London’s best art galleries, Notting Hill’s London West Bank to bring innovative installations from some of the UK’s most talented artists (all the art will be available to purchase). There will also be live music nightly by both established and up-and-coming artists and if all that weren’t enough — Upper West will also house Elton John’s piano, paying homage to the neighborhood’s rich music history.

Like any good NYC spot, Upper West will serve creative cocktails by some of the city’s best mixologists and an eclectic menu of New York City street food. And while we may not wake up in the city that never sleeps, if we hang out in the right places it certainly starts to feel like it.
