With Valentine’s Day right around the corner you may be wondering where to go for a romantic dinner. I have rounded up five of the most love-inducing dining destinations for a lovely night out, whether it’s February 14th or any other day.
1 Everest Restaurant
Located on the 40th floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange, Everest is one of the world’s premiere dining rooms. With Chef J. Joho’s world-class cuisine and an award winning wine list, you are swimming in dining luxury. A couple can enjoy a breathtaking view while enjoying each other’s company while having the opportunity to eat a dish featured on Food Network’s “Best Thing I Ever Ate.” Yeah, Everest is that good.
Of course everyone restaurant on this list has made been on other “best romantic restaurant” list, but Vivere Chicago adds a bit more with its extensive wine list. You and your date get to select wine off a list that includes 600 Italian wines, 300 French wines, 300 California wines, and over 200 wines from the rest of the world
3 Les Nomades
Originally opened as a private dinging club, this elegant restaurant offers a very secluded atmosphere for a couple to enjoy. The restaurant is extremely refined and has top-notch culinary standards. Enjoy a romantic meal upstairs where there’s a fireplace and cherry paneling.
4 Gejas Cafe
5 North Pond
“Sitting on the edge of a pond overlooking the Chicago skyline” may sound like a scene in some romantic novel but it’s actually the location of North Pond. The Lincoln Park restaurant is the perfect setting for your real life love story. The fresh, local ingredients that are used to create incredible dishes is just the icing on the cake.
