Jeremy Renner’s New Millionaire Hobby

Jeremy Renner has always been known as an action star from starring in blockbuster films like “The Bourne Legacy,” “The Avengers” and “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, all which have brought in over millions of dollars to the box-office, but if for some strange reason acting just doesn’t seem to work out for Renner, he will have no problem in switching gives to a multimillion dollar hobby, house flipping.

On “The David Letterman Show,” the actor revealed that he has a side gig that has proven to be quite lucrative. In fact, the actor shared that he along with a business partner has already flipped twenty homes within the last decade. Renner and his partner, actor Kristoffer Winters have worked with contractors for each project from an estimate of three months to 1.5 years. It seems both actors move into the rundown homes and install water and power. Renner jokingly spoke about sleeping in a sleeping bag throughout the process.

Recently, Renner flipped an exclusive Holmby Hills home called “The Reserve,” which includes 6 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a theater, spa, pool and more than 10,000 square feet. The home was listed in mid-January for $24.95 million.  Both Renner and Winters bought the home for nearly $7 million, leaving them both with a great profit, but many might be wondering how can Renner afford such an expensive hobby. Well, his latest action-comedy Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters just hit the box office at No.1, raking in $19 million for its opening weekend, along with earning $35.8 internationally, making a grand total of $54.8 million worldwide.
