Body English Nightclub & Afterhours at the Hard Rock Hotel started the weekend with an electrifying DJ set by Nick Valensi of The Strokes on Friday night. The famous guitarist hit the turntables and celebrated his birthday early as Body English’s staff presented him with a custom-made cake created in the shape of a vintage-looking Carr amplifier.
DJ Chris Kennedy, also known for his role as Francis in Fox’s “Malcolm in the Middle,” joined Valensi on stage and took over the stylings for the night. The nightclub was packed with athletes and fans from the Fifth Annual World Mixed Martial Arts Awards, which had taken place earlier in the evening at The Joint. DJ TJR was also present and greeted admiring fans graciously with autographs and photo opportunities. The popular DJ ended the night on a high note as he turned up the noise in the DJ booth in front of the star-studded crowd.
The next night, Adam Beyer played Body English. Before his performance, fans chanted Beyer’s name as the music boomed into an entry-worthy crescendo. Then, the bass kicked in and the crowd went wild as the Swedish artist started his first performance in Las Vegas. He had everyone dancing and on their feet until 3 a.m. by spinning his intense techno beats.
On Sunday, Cut Chemist was the event of the evening for Body English’s Industry Night. The DJ started the evening posing for photos and then entered the DJ booth. Cut Chemist spun an amazing set of hip hop, indie, Latin and much more as the crowd celebrated the end of a great weekend under Body English Nightclub & Afterhours’ beautiful, vintage chandeliers. Among the attendees was Vinnie Paul, best known as a co-founder and drummer of the heavy metal band Pantera.
