Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood Goes LA-Friendly With New Small Plate Menu

There are big (ahem, small) changes afoot at Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood.

The acclaimed restaurant introduced a new menu and, along with it, a new concept in its day-to-day operation.

Though the establishment was once a spot of classic fine dining,  made major tweaks have been made for the Southern California diner.

The focus of the fare has shifted to small, shareable plates and fusion cocktails.

The vibe itself inside the eatery is also different, as it’s now more sociable as a result of the changes made.

Chef Anthony Keene created the predominantly contemporary Western European e à la carte menu with subtle Asian influences.

Dishes you must try include: a warm radicchio salad with candied pecans, bleu cheese and apples; ricotta cheese gnocchi w/truffle and green cabbage sauce; risotto, butternut squash with mushrooms; polenta with aged goat cheese, chickpeas, eggplant and soft egg; agnolotti stuffed with shrimp and crisp brussels sprouts; Nantucket scallops with cauliflower, caper raisin, curried granola and leeks.

Standout desserts include the pineapple upside down cake with cherry ice cream and pumpkin cookies with spiced cream and maple.

Though the focus have shifted to sharing plates, there are still larger options on the menu for two which included braised pork belly with scallop, curried noodles and manila clams, as well as Wagyu rib cap steak with pommes frites and béarnaise.

Gordon Ramsay is open daily for lunch, happy hour and dinner; weekend brunch is also offered. The restaurant is located at The London West Hollywood, 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd., W. Hollywood, CA 90069. Reservations can be made at 310-358-7788 or please visit www.thelondonwesthollywood.com.
