Bing Crosby’s Palm Springs Holiday Home on the Market for $3.5 Million

The former home of the late Bing Crosby, known for his Christmas tunes, has been listed on the market for $3.5 million. Located in Palm Springs, Crosby’s former holiday home features five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms.

According to the listing, the Thunderbird Heights estate was Crosby’s winter vacation home and sits on 1.36 acres. Built in 1957, the home includes five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms with 6,700 square feet of entertainment space and a guest wing with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a full kitchen. The main home includes custom Moroccan wood doors in the entry, a formal living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a gourmet kitchen and a state-of-the-art home theater. With mountain, valley and city views from the extended patios, the home also has an outdoor kitchen, custom pool and fire ring feature.

Vacation Palms Springs reports that the luxury neighborhood where the home is located is “filled with history, charm and plenty of Hollywood celebrity intrigue.” The master suite in the home includes approximately 1,4000 square feet that includes a sitting area with a fireplace and an en suite spa-like bathroom with a “second outdoor shower surrounded by glass blocks for privacy.”
