Renowned singer and actress Barbra Streisand has been scheduled to perform at this year’s Oscars, which will take place on February 24. This will be the legend’s second Oscar performance, and her first appearance in 36 years.

Streisand last performed at the Oscars back in 1977, performing “Evergreen”, the same year she won an award for Best Original Song. The singer will now return to the Oscar stage for this year’s award ceremony, taking place next month.

Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the executive producers of this year’s Academy Awards, told ABC News in a statement, “In an evening that celebrates the artistry of movies and music, how could the telecast be complete without Barbra Streisand? We are honored that she has agreed to do a very special performance.”

The Oscars will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, hosted by Seth MacFarlane live on the ABC Television Network.
