Sushi Samba Pop-Up Restaurant Samba Pop to Open for Art Basel Miami Beach

During Art Basel Miami Beach, a Sushi Samaba pop-up restaurant called Samba Pop will open in the Sustain space at 3252 NE 1st Avenue in Miami.

The Samba Pop’s menu consists of items such as pork belly skewers with chili caramel ($12), rock shrimp tempura with golden pea shoot, snap pea julienne, spicy may and black truffle vinaigrette ($17), chicken teriyaki bento served with white rice, field green salad and tuna hand roll ($19), salmon New York Samba rolls with NY tempura flakes, wasabi mayo and aji panca ($12), Sao Paulo Samba rolls with tuna, shrimp, yellowtail, avocado, cucumber, masago, red onion, truffle, hatcho miso soy and chive oil ($15) and more. According to a press release, “additional selections include raw fish selections – tiraditos, seviche, sushi and sashimi – as well as bento boxes, small plates and of course Samba rolls” will also be available.

Art Basel visitors and Miami locals can also take a break from the art rounds to enjoy cocktail creations like the Classic Caipirinha, Classic Mojito and Chu-Cumber, along with a full service bar of sakes ranging from $8-$24, wines ranging from $9-$11 and beers for $8.

The dessert menu includes sweet treats such as warm chocolate banana cake with maple butter, plantain chip, vanilla run ice cream along with a catupiry cheesecake with a miso crumble, guava gelee and strawberry-shichimi ice cream.

Samba Pop will be open from 12 p.m. to midnight.

Sushia Samba currently has locations in New York City, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas and London. A Coral Gables location is coming soon.
