Strike A Pose Celebrity Fashion Show

I know the people of Chicago extremely charitable and I also know us Chicagoans like to have a good time. I always try to combine these two elements when choosing which events we feature here at Haute Living Chicago. Which is why I want to talk about “The David DeJesus Family Foundation’s Strike A Pose Celebrity Fashion Show.” The show is to benefit amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

The Strike a Pose Celebrity Fashion Show is in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs and features some of your favorite Cubs players, alumni and their wives taking trips down the runway to help raise money and support ALS research. David and Kim DeJesus are the co-chairs of the event, which will be held on Thursday January 17, 2013 at the River East Arts Center (435 East Illinois). There will be a live auction and raffle at the event. The runway show will feature fashion from the 900 North Michigan shops, which is a high-end hotbed of stores. Some of Chicago’s top restaurants like Bull and Bear, Shaw’s, RPM Italian and more will be providing heavy appetizers. And DJ Kasper K will be manning the boards while you hit the dance floor.

Tickets for the event are $250 for a single ticket and $2,500 per table, which consists of four tickets to the event with reserved seating and table service. The VIP reception starts at 6:30pm, cocktails at 7pm, and fashion show promptly at 8pm. Chicago Cubs charities will donate all proceeds to ALS Research and Support in the name of the DeJesus Family Foundation. To learn more or to buy tickets click here.
