Inside the Panerai Boutique in New York — A Look at Five Exceptional Watches

Haute Time was recently invited to step inside the Panerai boutique at 545 Madison Avenue in New York, where we got the chance to look at five of our favorite pieces which really demonstrate the flexibility of the brand.

Luminor 1950 10 day

Our first pick is the Luminor 1950 10 day, which we love for its black-on-black ceramic look – you don’t see that a lot with Panerai. The strap is called black buffalo and the back of the watch is black as well. Globally there are 1400 units and it retails for $20,100.

Radiomir 8 day PAM 0395

The Radiomir 8 day PAM 0395 is a brand new watch with 500 pieces produced globally. It features a sunburst brown dial and is made mostly of red gold. The back of the watch showcases the sophisticated in-house movement of the watch and it retails for $39,800.

Luminor Marina

The Luminor Marina has a 42-millimeter diameter case, so this watch can be worn by a man with a smaller wrist or a woman who wants a slightly larger timepiece. It’s an introductory watch for the Panerai buyer and retail for $7,800.

Radiomir Black Seal

The Radiomir Black Seal is a new watch that just came out in 2012. It’s made from 100 percent steel and the band is black elevator. It retails for $7,700.

Luminor 1950

We saved the best for last; the Luminor 1950—a very versatile watch in pink gold which can be worn easily with either jeans or a suit. It retails for $32,200 retails and featured a brown alligator strap.
