Besides the amazing shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, architecture, and of course people, Chicago has incredible luxury hotels. Recognized as one of the top 20 “World’s Best Hotels” by Travel + Leisure, the Park Hyatt Chicago (800 North Michigan Avenue) is one of the most elegant hotels in existence.

The Park Hyatt hotel features museum-quality works of art, a ridiculous amount of amenities, a remarkable award-winning restaurant (NoMi), and it’s set right on the Magnificent Mile. It’s right across the street from the Ralph Lauren store and the Water Tower Place. But you don’t have to leave your room if you don’t want to, the Park Hyatt has a personal service team that’s dedicated to making sure your stay is perfect and you have everything you could possibly want. This is great for couples or families that just want a quick getaway and to have a relaxing time at a top-notch hotel. They even have Hypo-Allergenic Rooms that are designed to ensure the most comfortable sleeping environment possible, especially for guests with allergies.

NoMi Kitchen is the Park Hyatt’s own open kitchen restaurant. It has a unique design that makes the kitchen the focal point of the restaurant. At NoMi you can have contemporary cuisine and delicious sushi dishes, al while enjoying breath-taking views of Chicago and Lake Michigan through the huge windows in the restaurant. And in case you are interested, NoMi will be serving Christmas Day Brunch from 10:30am all the way to 8pm on Christmas Day for $115 a person. But any day is a great day to enjoy a meal at NoMi. Also check out NoMi Lounge and when it’s warm enough NoMi Garden, which is a secluded area for outdoor dining on the seventh floor.

To be completely honest, when I was younger I would always say I wanted to own the Park Hyatt. I wanted to own it just so I could give myself my own personal suite to live in. I’m far off of that goal in life, but staying there for a couple days is the next best thing. For reservations or to learn more about the Park Hyatt Chicago call 312-335-1234 or click here.
