Haute Event: Jeffrey Katzenberg Receives Honor at 4th Annual Governors Awards

It may only be December, but awards season is already underway.

The latest in a string of entertainment industry fetes was the 4th annual Governors Awards, a ceremony which honored the likes of Jeffrey Katzenberg, George Stevens Jr., D.A. Pennebaker and Hal Needham on Saturday night.

Attendees inside the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland Center were Hollywood’s heaviest hitting A-listers.

George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Will Smith, Christopher Nolan, Tom Hooper, Alan Horman, John Lasseter, Tom Brokaw, Kristen Stewart, Juan Antonio Bayona, Tom Holland, Sidney Poitier, Kathryn BIgelow, U.S. Sen. Al Franken, Michael Moore, Annette Bening, Davis Gunggenheim, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Ewan MacGregor, Richard Gere, Academy Awards host Seth MacFarlane and Quentin Tarantino all attended the ceremony.

Katzenberg was honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his many philanthropic efforts.
