A few members of the Downton Abbey cast traveled to New York City to promote their popular television show and took some time to enjoy the city and tweet photos at a subway station and with Knicks player Amar’e Stoudemire.
Hugh Bonneville, Rob James-Collier, Sophie McShera, Joanne Froggatt and Brendan Coyle were traveling through New York City this week, visiting classic city sights including the subway system. Actor Hugh Bonneville tweeted a photo of the cast members in front of a subway sign reading “Downtown” with his hand cleverly covering the “w”.
Along with the photo, New York Daily News reports Bonneville tweeted, “Out and about in #NYC #downtondoesdowntown”.
The cast also posed in a photo with New York Knicks player Amar’e Stoudemire prior to the Knicks games against the Denver Nuggets on December 9.
