Does Chelsea Clinton Have A Political Career in Her Future?

It sounds like another Clinton may run for political office one day. Not Hillary Clinton – but Chelsea. The former first daughter took a new step in her evolution as a public figure, moderating a panel discussion Monday on child hunger.

Sponsored by the Association for a Better New York, the event drew leaders from the non-profit and business worlds including Rain Henderson (Clinton Health Matters Initiative), Erica Hamilton (City Year New York) and Josh Wachs (Share Our Strength), reports the New York Daily News. Though Clinton shied away from talks of politics, she argued that the national dialogue during the 2012 campaign did not include a coherent discussion of the needs of vulnerable children.

During the discourse, Clinton also recalled her first visit to NYC 25 years ago — an early Christmas present from her father, Bill Clinton. “I was enchanted and I knew this was a place that I someday wanted to live,” she revealed. “And indeed, in 2003 I moved here and now this is where my husband and I call home and I cannot imagine living anywhere else.”
