Chef and owner of Los Angeles’ Animal, Jon Shook is expecting his first child with Roswell actress Shiri Appleby. The newly engaged couple has reportedly decided to not find out what gender the baby is until he or she is born.
Us Magazine reports that Appleby and Shook have been “keeping busy decorating their baby’s room,” sticking to monochromatic colors, and “making sure their little one is healthy.”
According to Appleby, it was Shook’s idea to keep the gender a secret. “He really want to do it and it sounded like fun,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s really made the whole pregnancy a heightened excitement because you just don’t know what it’s going to be.” The baby is due in the spring.
The couple have already gone for their five-month check-up and viewed the baby in 3D. “We were just laughing our heads off the whole time. It’s just so much fun,” said Appleby.
