Scott Schuman at the Museum of Contemporary Art

Scott Schuman is a famed blogger and photographer that has just released a second book of curated images (his forst book sold over 100,000 copies) from his vast catalog. Just to give you an idea of how impressive his resume is I want to point out that he has been featured in GQ, Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris and many more publications. He even shot and edited his own GQ page for over three years. Many companies and high-end brands have commissioned ad campaigns shot by him, and it looks that his star is only shining brighter as he has permanent collections of his work residing in the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.

Okay that’s enough praise, the point of it all is to announce he will be making a rare trip to Chicago to promote his book tomorrow (Tuesday Nov. 27) evening at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Edlis Neeson Theater (220 E. Chicago Avenue). There will be a book signing following a presentation on his new book led by MCA curator Naomi Beckwith. The book is 500 pages of stunning photographs shot in London, Paris, Milan and several more of the world’s most luxurious and fashionable cities. The book is $30, but tickets are free for all Illinois residents or with museum admission.
