Designer Monique Lhuillier has unveiled her first New York City flagship boutique with a stylish evening where guests enjoyed wine, cupcakes and browsing bridal gowns.

At the exclusive opening party, guests finally saw the interior of Lhuillier’s new boutique, which is located in a brownstone on 71st Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues that resembles an Upper East Side townhouse and features monochromatic gray tones, similar to her other locations.

Lhuillier recently told ELLE.com, “This [one] is a dream come true for me. It made sense to open in L.A. first since we’re based there, but we’ve wanted to do New York for so long.”

WWD reports that guests for the opening party included: Hanna Bronfman, Marina Rust Connor, Alexandra Lebenthal, Lauren Dupont, Jamie Tisch, Muffie Potter Aston, Jennifer Creel, Yaz Hernandez, Kelly Rutherford and Anais Pouliot.

According to the fashion website, the new boutique has ready-to-wear on the first level and a bridal salon on the second.

Lhuillier also has locations in Los Angeles, Edina and Minnesota.
