James Walley of Houston, Texas was awarded a $900,000 Paramount Bay condo in Miami courtesy of HGTV’s recent Urban Oasis Giveaway 2012 contest.

The 2012 HGTV Urban Oasis was a custom-designed condo located in one of Miami’s newest residential buildings, Paramount Bay. According to the press release, the condo, which is situated on the 20th floor of the building, comes fully furnished and includes 1,700 square feet of living space and striking artwork. It also includes two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and a terrace with views of Miami Beach, Biscayne Bay and the Port of Miami. As a resident of the building, the Walley family will also enjoy the building’s spa, fitness center and theater lawn with a fire pit. The entire prize package that Walley won is valued at $900,000.

Walley’s wife, Denise, said, “Yesterday was his birthday. This is an awesome belated birthday gift. Way better than the card I gave him!”

HGTV will air Walley’s reaction to winning the condo as part of its HGTV Urban Oasis special on December 28 at 8 p.m.
