2 parts Silicon Valley tech startup, 1 part San Francisco buzz, add a dash of casual chic and a generous pour of social benefit.  Mix well and you’ve got the 40 under 40 party.  A tiny sprig of green adorned those awarded the venerable title, perhaps to allude how these were the ones growing our economy, shaping our tastes and making our futures every so bright.  From lauded chef, David Chang, cool-branded beverage CEO, Dolf Van Den Brink to Fortune’s own Leigh Gallagher and Adam Lowry and Eric Ryan of environmentally friendly soap soap maker Method, the crowd was full of zeitgeists.

Cartier has a special dome to showcase their new ID Two concept watch, the first ever high efficiency watch.  There was a Nasdaq sponsored media area where people could get instant fun photographs send to themselves and an interactive wall where guests could touch upon projected images to find out more about these rising stars in business.  Taste catering kept everyone snacking away at their delightful mini mac and cheeses and the dessert table was just irresistible.   As this is the seond year this party’s been in San Francisco, we can only expect it to get bigger and more exciting, just like these winners.  To read more about them, click here.  For more pictures, click here.
