In May 2013, Baccarat will open their newest flagship store in New York City on Madison Avenue ahead of the brand’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

The new 2,800-square-foot store, which will be located at 635 Madison Avenue at 60th Street, is designed by architect and designer Rafael de Cardenas and is said to be an “experiential destination encompassing the Baccarat lifestyle.” Featuring a new global retail model with rich woods and dark stones, the store will include tableware, decorative objects and jewelry. Founded in 1764, Baccarat is renowned for their impeccable craftsmanship and innovative designs.

According to Michelle Klein, President and CEO of Baccarat North America, “This new flagship store will be a landmark of the luxury, glamour and prestige that has set Baccarat apart. It will be a space for discerning shoppers to fully appreciate the brand’s most coveted designs and to experience the unique Baccarat lifestyle, which celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2014.”

The brand also has a highly anticipated Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York planned to open in 2014 in a joint venture between Starwood Capital Group and Tribeca Associates.
