Samantha Harris and Julie Berchtold of the design and concierge team Berchtold Harris has been known for their sophisticated style and elegance among many upscale projects throughout Los Angeles. Their latest muse was none other than the beautiful actress Charlize Theron. Over the years the home design team has had the opportunity to work with Theron on various projects.
Berchtold Harris’ latest project started with a complete blank canvas in which they transformed into a 2,000-square foot penthouse loft that has been designed with 1920s flair, with dark wood floors, exposed brick, floor length drapes, shag rugs, all on a black and white palette, including an amazing view of the city that reflects off a mounted mirror. The designers have cleverly placed a focal point within the penthouse, which is a breath-taking six-foot milk glass clock that took the manpower of ten men to bring into the penthouse. Luckily, Theron loved every inch of the amazing home from ceiling to floor, making this dramatic design project a complete success.
