The Australian actor, Simon Baker, best known for his lead role in the CBS drama series The Mentalist has recently been named the new face of Givenchy’s men scent that will debut globally as of next year spring 2013.

The scent is expected to launch with a new advertising campaign with both TV and print ads featuring Baker. Unfortunately, no other details about the campaign have been released, but many can’t wait to see the actor grace the fashion house’s new campaign with his chic style and talented abilities.

Here’s what the global president of Givenchy Thierry Maman had to say in an official statement, about the luxury brand’s decision to choose Baker as their newest face for the men’s scent, “Simon was a natural choice for us – he has aristocratic elegance and charisma. These are all values which have been linked with the brand since Hubert de Givenchy.”

Earlier this year, Simon also was appointed the face of Longines, a luxury watch manufacturer. As the Ambassador of Elegance, Simon Baker has succeeded in personifying the very values of the Swiss watchmaker. Simon also graces the cover of the newest issue of Haute Living San Francisco as a “Synonym of Elegance.”
