Sky Blu of LMFAO returned to Wet Republic at the MGM Grand on Sunday with his monthly DJ residency “Who Came To Party!?”

Sky Blu and his Big Bad crew took over the DJ booth at 4 p.m. and immediately the energy on the pool deck escalated to an all new high. The Grammy Award-nominee singer and DJ kicked off his set with his hit single “Shots” as he jumped atop the DJ booth to get closer to his fans. The performance DJ and his crew including instrumentalists and dancers were full of energy as they jumped around, went into the crowd to hand out shots of vodka and threw out their electric branded swag. Halfway through the set Sky Blu announced he was looking for one poolside patron who was partying harder than the rest. Once he spotted a winner he handed them his gold watch, one he took off right from his wrist.

Toward the end of his performance, Sky Blu addressed the sold-out pool club and declared it was time for everyone to get wet. Guests cheered as Sky Blu began his song “Champagne Showers,” appeared among the crowd and began the popular champagne parade along with the entire Wet Rebublic staff. Stopping at different daybeds with the Wet Republic flag in hand, Sky Blu popped bottles of bubbly and doused sun-kissed revelers with champagne.

Earlier in the weekend Wet Republic welcomed the electronic DJ phenomenon Luciano. On Saturday, the music devotee manned the decks and played his pulsating beats for a sold-out crowd of bikini-clad guests.
