Haute Event: Ben Affleck + Ron Howard Help to Raise $2.1 Million for the National MS Society

Ben Affleck and Ron Howard were part of the haute assembled crew that helped to raise $2.1 million for the National Multiple Scleroris Society.

The two gentleman attended the NMSS’ 38th annual Dinner of Champions at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel on Monday night.

In addition to raising money for the foundation, the event also honored Jeff Robinov, the President of Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

“The Dark Knight Rises” director Christopher Nolan and his wife, producer Emma Thomas, presented the award to  Robinov in recognition of his and Warner Bros.’ continued support in helping the National MS Society move closer toward their goal of curing MS.

Byron Allen served as master of ceremonies for the 20th year, while musicians Chris Cornell and Carolina Liar performed.

Other special guests in attendance included Jason Alexander, John Corbett, Phil Keoghan, David Lander, Baz Lurhmann, Ron Perlman, Bill Pullman, Zack Snyder, D.B. Sweeney, Marlon Wayans and Congressman Henry Waxman.
