On September 6 fashion took the spotlight in Moscow for the fourth annual Fashion’s Night Out, the Vogue event that is part of an international marathon of special events intended to celebrate the fashion industry.

As the event kicked off on Thursday evening in 10 countries worldwide, including Russia, the United States, Britain, France, Italy and Spain, with later celebrations in China, India, Taiwan, Japan, Brazil, Turkey, Portugal, Greece and the Netherlands, each location featured a unique showing of parties, designer discounts and celebrities.

In Moscow, nearly 200 boutiques and department stores took place offering discounts, limited edition and new products, hosting parties and giving gifts to their guests throughout the evening.

According to Yevgenia Beldungina, PR manager for the event, “This is a very important evening for fashion. It’s like the start of a season – all the brands are presenting something new.”

Numerous high-end brands took place in the Moscow festivities, including Fendi, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Burberry, Hermes and more.

The Vera Wang bridal shop on Kuznestsky Most offered free cocktails while showcasing the complete haute couture collection while Fendi released a new “2 Jours” handbag and Stephen Webster presented his latest “Forget Me Knot” jewelry collection. Diesel provided entertainment with a party featuring DJ Mark Shchedrin, a martini bar and gifts for customers.

Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova was Moscow’s DNO special celebrity guest while Russian Vogue editor-in-chief Victoria Davydova was also spotted at a few of the main participating boutiques.
