Ever wonder what the most powerful leaders, business execs and celebrities keep on their desks? Well, we’re about to tell you. Our biweekly “What’s on My Desk” feature will take a look inside the offices and at the desks of the world’s most influential power players.
This week we’ve featured Nevena Borissova, the founder of LA’s haute Curve boutique. She has been an influencer in the fashion world for over 15 years, carrying clothing from then relatively unknown designers who are now major fashion power players such as Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant, Preen and Iro. Nevena herself is an expert stylist, and one of the founding members of Vogue 100: a group of women hand-selected by Vogue magazine from across the country known for being tastemakers in fashion, art, and culture.She is extending the CURVE brand this year with their capsule collection A.O.T.C, and a pop up shop in the Sag Harbor, NY and also celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the her first location on Robertson Blvd. Here is a look at the items on Nevena’s desk:
(1) Limited Edition Alber Elbaz Color Pencils- “I’ve kept these on my desk since I got them as a Christmas gift from the CURVE team! They are the most incredible colors and they are pure inspiration. I use then when collaborating and sketching for future season.”
(2) Room Spray- Puressentiel. “It contains 41 essential oils and it’s a purification and bacteria killing spray. It leaves a spa-like after smell which is incredible. I honestly can say it does clear the air, helps you breathe and changes moods. When work gets a bit overwhelming, I spray it to relax the office environment.”
(3) My iPad: “I absolutely cannot live without it. I am currently developing an app where all the orders can be inputted directly into our POS system from the iPad. It is truly my best friend! Thank you Steve Jobs.”
