In historical Palm Beach, the design and layout of a hotel lobby (and outside areas) are just as impressive and important as the size and quality of the hotel room itself.
1 The Chesterfield
2 The Breakers
It's hard to find a nicer (or more active) lobby than the one at the infamous Breakers Hotel. As you walk in, your eyes flirt with an oversized flower arrangement that is the centerpiece of the entire lounge and lobby area. Keep moving forward and you'll be able to peek through to their stunning garden area.
3 Brazilian Court Hotel and Lobby
As you enter the Brazilian Court, you're guided into the pristine and beautifully decorated lobby by way of French doors. An adjacent set of French doors guide your pathway to a 'secret garden' pool scene and a plethora of discreet courtyards throughout the property. At night, the DJ plays music in the lobby as guests await their table at Cafe Boulud.
4 The Omphoy Ocean Resort
5 The Colony of Palm Beach
The true boutique hotel, small in size with a distinct personality, has been home to Presidents, dignitaries and celebrities alike. The lobby underwent part of the recent $12 million renovation recently, but continued to keep the old world charm. Bonus: right around the block from Worth Avenue!
