Second Floor of Anatoly Komm’s Varvary Rebranded as Varvary Brasserie

The rebranded second floor of Anatoly Komm’s Varvary restaurant has been opened as Varvary Brasserie. The new space will function as a restaurant catering to current and traditional cuisine serving pasta, burgers, rolls and okroshka.

Russian chef Anatoly Komm is known for serving 15-course tasting menus and for being a critical part of the first-ever Russian establishment to make it into the prestigious World’s 50 Best list. The new eatery will also include the infamous Varvarburger, which contains two kinds of premium beef. Other favorites include the okroshka with crab meat, Russian-style rolls “Dressed Herring”, dishes from Varvary’s Gastronomic Show, spaghetti with artichokes and bottarga, homemade noodles prepared in a head of cheese and grilled meat and fish.

For those with a sweet tooth, desserts include: tiramisu, profiteroles, rum-baba, “Burning” ice cream, warm rice cookies with red fruits and green tea ice cream, cookies and sweets, cottage cheese and berry dessert, truffle dessert, Souffle Varvary, raspberry mille-feuille, berry tartare with granulated cookies and coconut snow and a cheese plate.
