A Hamptons advanced screening of Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions’ Arbitrage was held on August 12, hosted by Brioni and the Peggy Siegal Company and attended by Hollywood actor Richard Gere and his wife Carrie Lowell, Jon Bon Jovi, Edie Falco and Mark Feurstein.

The advanced screening, which also served as the East Coast premiere, featured a long list of Hollywood actors, directors and executives who were excited about the film and Richard Gere’s reportedly riveting performance.

According to writer and director Nicholas Jarecki was extremely grateful to all of the people who worked on the film and said, “this is not the work of one or two people, it took several million creative hours to create.” The movie was shot on the streets of New York last April and May and a number of the indviduals involved in making it attended the East Coast premiere including producers Laura Bickford, Kevin Turen, executive producer Ron Curtis, co-producer Mike Heller and Justin Nappi.

Richard Gere said, “It doesn’t happen very often when you get a terrific script, end up making a movie with hundreds of people, it goes through all those permutations and it is as good as you hope it is going to be.”

Other guests in attendance included Jimmy Buffet, Russell Simmons, Howard Cohen, Bob Balaban, Jennifer Miller, Calvin Klein, Eric Ripert and Michael Lynne.

Arbitrage is a suspense thriller about love, loyalty and high finance starting Gere, Susan Sarandon, Tim Roth, Brit Marling, Laetitia Casta and Nate Parker. The film had it’s world premiere during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. It opens in theaters on September 14.
