The Hard Rock Hotel honored two-time Grammy nominee and one of the leading forces in the global music scene DJ Paul Oakenfold with a memorabilia case for being the world pioneer of dance music.
The memorabilia case, dedicated on Saturday, features exclusive items from Oakenfold’s travels including a limited edition Elvis Jesus T-shirt made specifically for the deejay to promote his Pop Killer album, custom V-Moda headphones, a jacket Oakenfold wore while deejaying internationally, and video footage from around the world.
After posing for photos at the dedication ceremony, Oakenfold headed to Nectar Music Festival, where he gave his fans a thrill by performing one of his legendary sets.
Grand Master Flash spun at Vanity Nightclub on Saturday night and at the legendary Rehab pool party on Saturday.
