Ever wonder what the most powerful leaders, business execs and celebrities keep on their desks? Well, we’re about to tell you. Our biweekly “What’s on My Desk” feature will take a look inside the offices and at the desks of the world’s most influential power players.
First up is Bron Heussenstamm, the Founder and President of Alex Maine, an upscale, menswear-focused clothing venture with a patriotic Made in the USA message. Bron is a Laguna Beach native who wears many hats, including entrepreneur and pro surfer. After being ranked the NSSA’s #2 amateur in California at the age of 17, he went on to appear in a variety of surf movies, on magazine covers and even in international Pepsi commercials with fellow athlete David Beckham. After enjoying success on the surfing circuit, he then went on to earn a degree in business entrepreneurship from USC. Here are a few of this impressive SoCal entrepreneur’s favorite things:
- Stapler for stapling things, USC mug which was a gift for speaking at the Entrepreneurship school, Alex Maine flag, USC water which I’m saving for a special occasion.
- Inspiration photo of some amazing Americans: Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, John Burroughs. They take care of the Money tree to the right. Who else could be better? If that tree dies it’s a terrible sign.
- Those are some story boards, calendar, interesting colors fabrics, and pictures. Things we liked or have noticed.
