The Palm Beach mansion owned by Thalia and her husband Tommy Mottola was reportedly sold for $6.53 million. The Mexican singer/actress Thalia and former Sony music exec and ex-husband to Mariah Carey purchased the luxury home back in 2008 with a price tag of $6 million based on public records.

Ariadna Sodi Miranda more known as Thalia became famous as a Spanish soap opera star and singer in the mid 1980s. In 2000, the couple had a lavish wedding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City among friends and family. In 2007 Thalia gave birth to her daughter Sabrina Sakar and in 2011 a beautiful baby boy, named Matthew.

According to Palm Beach Daily, the spacious property of 8,657 square-feet, located at 302 Caribbean Rd in Palm Beach, Fla was built and designed by MP Design and Architecture’s Michael Perry back in 2008. Following the purchase, the upscale couple decided to renovate the home through several projects, including a new kitchen.

The lovely home sits on 0.45 acres and showcases five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, an elevator, a fountain, breathtaking patio and pool.

According to Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s office, in 2011 the couple paid a whopping $70,160 in taxes.

The home has since been sold to Stephen Murray of CCMP Capital equity firm CEO and his wife, Muffie. However, prior to the final selling of the mansion, the Palm Beach home was reportedly listed at $8.25 million in 2011, but dropped after several attempts at relisting the property.
