It’s going to be a visually stunning season at the Geffen Contemporary this summer, as some of Hollywood’s biggest names (and most attractive faces) are bringing the the art and music worlds together under one roof.

PLAY MOCA will feature a three-night collaborative multimedia event series with artwork by Drew Barrymore and Benjamin Millepied’s L.A. Dance Project collaboration with fashion darlings Rodarte.

The event will be curated by indie music label IAMSOUND and their newest signee IO ECHO. It “aims to bring together a diverse group of musicians and artists to collaborate in a series of visual and musical performances, highlighting the cultural vitality and diversity of the city of Los Angeles.”

LA-based design firm COCO has signed on to bring some ethereal, otherworldly elements to the space.

Barrymore said in a release: “I like to walk through museums with headphones. Trying to combine art and music is my goal. In work or play, the two enhance everything in life. I am thrilled to be a part of this event.”

The PLAY MOCA events will run on July 27, August 17 and August 24.
