Miami HEAT's Mike Miller Sells House at Auction

It’s been a busy month for Miami HEAT forward Mike Miller. On June 30th, (just nine days after receiving the coveted title) the NBA Conference Champ sold his 12,982-square-foot waterfront estate in Pompano Beach in a very unconventional way—by auctioning it off to the highest bidder, with no minimum price.

Located at 2308 Bay Drive, the 9,000-square-foot living space in the mega-mansion boasts six bedrooms, eight baths, two half baths. Entering through 12-foot mahogany doors, the Mediterranean style luxury estate features marble ceilings, an elevator, in-ground pool with wet bar, a cigar and wine room, a swim-up bar and a basketball court in the driveway. Miller’s home sits on a waterfront lot with incredible views of the ocean, a private boat dock with access to Hillsboro Bay, a butlers quarters, media room and a game parlor. He purchased the house in September 2010 for $5.4 million—ironically Miller’s salary for the 2011 season.

While Platinum Luxury Auctions President Trayor Lesnock could not disclose the identity of the buyer or the price paid, Haute Living has learned that the buyer is a multi-property owner in South Florida.
