Kari Lake
Anchor of the award-winning “FOX 10 News at 5 p.m.” and “FOX 10 News at 9 p.m,” Kari Lake has a BA in communications and journalism from the University of Iowa and is an Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter. She has received special recognition for her coverage of landmine removal efforts in Cambodia, as well as for a half-hour special she wrote and anchored. She volunteers with a number of charities in the Valley, particularly Save the Family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, swimming and spending time with her husband, daughter, son and dog.
Where were you born ?
I was raised in Iowa... along the Mississippi River, but I was born just over the bridge in Illinois.
How long in Phoenix:
Since August of 1994. I drove into town on a hot 113-degree day and loved the heat immediately. Still do. Summertime is the best time.
