One week after the deadly shooting spree at a “Dark Knight Rises” screening in Aurora, Colorado, Mayor Michael Bloomberg took to the airwaves to criticize the presidential candidates for refusing to tackle the thorny issue of gun control.
“They said, ‘This was a tragedy,’ and the president did what his job requires him to do in terms of expressing the country’s remorse, but neither addressed the fundamental issue,” Bloomberg said.
