1. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden or 2. the Everglades via airboat off Alligator Alley, January through March, picnicking on stones crabs and white wine while the water lilies and the alligators float down the river of grass, passing islands with Indian camp sites and abandoned fishing huts.
