West Hollywood Gets Sweeter with Dylan’s Candy Bar

Designer Ralph Lauren’s daughter, Dylan, proves the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree, as the entrepreneur gets ready to open her famed Manhattan sweet shop, Dylan’s Candy Bar, in Los Angeles.

Last summer, the 38-year-old fashion heiress announced plans to open new locations across the country of her popular candy shop, in which the first location will be in the heart of West Hollywood.

The expansion marks the candy bar’s first West Coast location, and developers promise it will be huge. Sweet-toothed junkies are about to face serious trouble, as the new shop is expected to span 1,200 square feet with more than 7,000 types of candy.

Dylan’s Candy Bar is set to open this fall and will be located in the Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax.

The candy empire, which has locations in East Hampton, N.Y. and Houston, will feature the same candy selection as its flagship store in New York City.
