Tony Parker Sues W.i.P. In Rihanna Brawl Fallout

The brawl between hip-hop mogul Drake and singer Chris Brown over Rihanna has caused a whirlwind of repercussions. Tony Parker, point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, was caught in the middle of the flying bottles between Drake’s entourage and Chris Brown. Parker received a scratched cornea from the piece of glass and had to undergo operation to remove the shard. Although Parker is scheduled to play for Team France in the London Olympics in just a few weeks, he has not yet been cleared to play. Due to his injury, Parker is suing the W.i.P club in SoHo, for a whopping 20 million dollars.

Parker is not the only one who is dissatisfied with the club, so is the State Liquor Authority. W.i.P nightclub has 14 charges filed against them due to fights, noise levels and using unlicensed guards. This recent negative attention to the Manhattan club may possibly be the breaking point and cause them to have their liquor license revoked.
