Standing Ovations Fundraising Gala in San Francisco

On June 14th at 5 pm, many will gather at the magnificent Old Mint for a fun-filled evening which will include cocktails and dinner. The event called Standing Ovations, an annual fundraising gala by the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society’s principal in honor of rich and diverse history and people in San Francisco.

At this year’s Standing Ovations, Kim Novak from the 1958 Hitchcock classic Vertigo, will be given the San Francisco Cinematic Icon Award. This award is one of the most prestigious awards at Standing Ovations, however, there will be an exhibition that debuts the same night, which highlights movies and filmmaking in the San Francisco community. On June 16, the exhibition will open to the public. For more information about the event and tickets please contact Darlene Plumtree at plumtree@comcast.net or 415.710.7332.
