Fashion forward NFL fans can finally follow their favorite team in style as fashion house Marchesa teams up with the league to create a limited-edition shirt that will keep cheering on the sidelines fashionable.
Representatives from the NFL have been tight-lipped about the details surrounding this collaboration, however they did confirm that something is in the works with luxury label Marchesa. Pricing information, availability and exactly details on what kind of t-shirts will be made is still unknown.
According to sources, the limited edition t-shirt will be launched during the NFL’s two weeks of kickoff events in New York, which will occur around September 5 when the New York Giants open the season against the Dallas Cowboys.
The NFL is also working on a female-focused print advertising campaign featuring high-profile fans like Condoleezza Rice, Melania Trump, Summer Sanders, Suzanne Johnson, Kym Johnson and Peta Murgatroyd.
Over in the NBA league, there have also been recent efforts to strike a cord with female fans as the Association collaborated with Herstar to create two styles of high-heeled women’s footwear, entrusted with crystal logos of NBA teams.
