New Bremont Watch Store to Open in London’s Mayfair Area

On June 26, British luxury watch brand Bremont will open a new store in London’s Mayfair area. Featuring its own bar, the new store will be located nearby other high-end brands like Purdey and Marc Jacobs.

The two-story boutique won’t just be your traditional watch store, according to the co-founder of Bremont, Giles English. With a club-like atmosphere, the store will have its own bar and “an explorers’’ club based from there, a considerable watch library and it will also be the only place in the world to see unique items like the Bremont B-1 Marine Clock.”

“As a British company we felt we needed a showcase to promote ourselves to visitors from all around the world,” English said.

The company was founded by Giles English and his brother Nick in 2002 and they currently supply the multi-award-winning Bremont watches to more than 40 retailers.

Though a proud British company, Bremont opened an Atelier in Bein, Switzerland while the brothers drew on the Swiss watchmaking experience.

Helen Franks, the Director of Commercial Leasing at Grosvenor property group, said, “Bremont is a perfect fit for South Audley Street [in Mayfair]. They represent all that is great about British manufacturing and innovation and strengthen the retail mix in the area. Their arrival reflects the continued success of this part of Mayfair as a shopping destination.”
