ltalian Firm Studio Fuksas To Revamp Dated Beverly Center

The Beverly Center is in desperate need of a revamp, and ltalian firm Studio Fuksas has been selected to do it, Architect’s Newspaper blog reported.

Studio Fuksas is known for the “ethereal lightness” of the Fiera in Milan, which is why it could be the perfect architect for the bulky center.

The Beverly Center opened in 1982, and has surprised the public throughout the years with its continued success, despite its out-of-date existence in the middle of the Los Angeles basin. Fuksas beat out the likes of John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects and Brooks+Scarpa for the job.
