Celebrity A-lister and actress Halle Berry has frequented Kinara Skin Care Clinic and Spa in Los Angeles for 10 years in part because the establishment offers numerous services all under one roof. In addition to facial and skin care services, the clinic also features a hair studio to create wedding blowouts and updos.
Facialist and skincare expert Olga Lorecin-Northup founded Kinara Skin Care Clinic and Spa in 2001. The clinic offers numerous services including a nail center, a waxing and tanning studio, body scrubs, wraps and massages, facials, a wedding hair studio and more.
Of Berry, Lorecin-Northup said, “I love Halle! She’s too kind. She has an amazing disposition and although she’s extremely beautiful and knowledgeable, she allows me to do my job and follows my skincare suggestions. She is also not obsessed with her physical beauty, which is very unusual for a celebrity! Halle believes in graceful aging and taking care of yourself.”
The clinic is now offering something called the “Red Carpet Oxygenating Hydra Facial,” which they highly recommend for a bride-to-be. It’s an aggressive facial with minimal side effects that is great for anyone who has uneven or unclear skin.
Lorecin-Northup’s biggest bridal beauty do-not includes avoiding experimenting. “This is not a good time to listen to your friends,” she said. “Go for the professional opinion to ensure your skin is in tip-top shape on the most important day of your life.”
Meaning “on the edge” in Hindi, Kinara was founded to bring change by remastering the ideal spa and bringing a new level of efficacy and performance to an intimate setting. Lorecin-Northup is a native of Yugoslavia who was trained in the European tradition. She moved to Los Angeles and began working in the Ole Henriksen salon before opening Kinara Skin Care Clinic in 2001. She also has her own product line designed for the good of the skin delivering dermatological change.
